| The IRP/Asiapet PET facility is located in Lopburi, Thailand. The plant began production in 1995 and marked our first step into the PET business. With various expansion projects, the plant’s initial annual capacity of 20,000 tons has now increased to 180,000 tons. The facility employs Zimmer and Aquafil continuous polymerization and UOP Sinco solid state polycondensation technology. The facility enjoys virtual back integration with our PTA within the region and partial forward integration with the co-located Petform packaging facility. The on-site coal-fired heaters meet the plant’s energy requirements. |

| The plant had received ISO 9002 certification in 1998 and ISO 14001 in 2007. Like other Indorama Ventures production sites throughout the world, the IRP/Asiapet PET facility takes an active role in contributing to the well-being of its community. The plant employees care about the well-being of their neighbours and cooperate with local agencies to improve the quality of life in the Lopburi province. |
