We have taken several steps in ensuring a healthy and harm-free work climate, including annual health check-ups for employees, training requirements, use of proper safety devices depending on location of work, as well as putting in place detailed fire fighting and emergency evacuation plans.
All facilities have a certified safety officer to ensure that the safety laws are upheld along with organizing periodic preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery and safety devices. In Workington, for example, all employees receive private healthcare and VDU users receive assistance with eye care. |
