Everyone owes a portion of their time to the betterment of the world and at Indorama we adhere to this commitment by manufacturing products that aid in creating a “better tomorrow”. We stand with our feet firmly planted in the bedrock of good returns as our journey towards this mission progresses.
The move to integrate the polyester value chain assets under one umbrella, Indorama Ventures Limited, “IVL”, has today created a company expected to generate over US$ 3 billion in revenues this year with operating units spanning Asia, Europe and North America. The strategic combination of our individual units accelerated the realization of our common aspirations. IVL is in its current winds of positive change and has taken tremendous strides towards strengthening multifunctional team paradigms; improve overall efficiency and costs amongst the enterprise verticals, more synchronized work streams with higher norms of diversity and higher levels of synergistic functioning.
Indorama Ventures Limited is among a selected few companies in the world with a sizeable presence in the polyester value chain, which enables us to maintain our focus on a business which has a long-term potential. - Acquisition of majority stake in TPT Petrochemicals, a PTA producer in Thailand
- Takeover of Tuntex (Thailand), which is now Indorama Polyester Industries(IPI) the largest polyester producer in Thailand
- Merger of Indorama Petrochemical PTA facility in Thailand
- Acquisition of Eastman Chemical Company’s European PET/PTA assets at Workington and Rotterdam.
- Implementation of AlphaPET, a Greenfield project, with a capacity of 432,000 tons per annum which is ready to commence operations by middle of 2009.

| The year 2009 is an exciting time for our business as we launch our new company website, new logo and inroads have been made towards revamping our branding repository. Also, our existing corporate song embodies the spirit at Indorama, with its lyrics geared at speaking about our purpose and goals. It has been emblematic of the ways in which it ignites a sense of passion, pride and belongingness within every employee. As IVL grows, a company logo and website which have the flexibility to adapt and can be used as we expand into different markets as we saw fit was developed. This will allow the company the flexibility to expand with the brand recognition and recall that the logo and website would bring us. |

| There's no doubt in my mind that we have the right business strategy, and that we have demonstrated our ability to execute it. My top priorities are to continue driving the focus on high performance, entering new markets, improving operations and competitive position by continuing to be the lowest cost-producer. |
