Over the past ten years polyester, and hence PTA, has seen strong and steady demand, with growth rates in the double-digits. Due to various factors, including the many favorable characteristics of polyester products, growth for the coming years will remain strong at a forecasted 7-8 percent. Polyester plays an important role in our daily lives, and will continue to do so in the future. |
